PT Bank Ekonomi Raharja Tbk, a unit og HSBC Holdings (HKG:0005), announced that for the first nine months of 2009, it had a profit before tax of IDR359 billion, an increase of 55% on the year.
Net interest income leaped 36% while non-interest income rose 34%. Allowance for losses on loans and financing dropped 9.6%.
