Winsway Coking Coal Holdings Limited is engaged in the procurement of coking coal from around the world, particularly from Mongolia and the provision of services to its customers in China. These services include sourcing, transportation, storage, processing and sale of coking coal. The Company has established an integrated end-to-end service platform comprising its logistics parks and border crossing infrastructure and coal processing plants and road and railway transportation capabilities through its arrangements with third-party transportation companies. It sources a portion of its coking coal from its Mongolia-based suppliers, and through arrangements between its suppliers, a third-party transportation company and the Company, Mongolian coal is transported directly from its suppliers' mines to its logistics parks in Gants Mod and Ceke. On June 29, 2010, the Company acquired a 50% interest in Peabody-Winsway JV from Polo Resources Cooperatief. |
